The Buckerell response to Coronavirus
A sub-committee of Buckerell Parish Council has been established to assist our village in responding to the coronavirus crisis. This committee (BOA) will work to match help to need for the more vulnerable members of the community as the pandemic takes hold.
The committee has met twice to ensure that the needs of the vulnerable are being met by volunteers. In future meetings will take place by means of a video conferencing link up. The chairman of this sub-committee is David Wayne, (telephone 850637 or email email@example.com). In particular, nobody should go short of food, and if this is a problem for you then do please contact David who will do his best to organise appropriate help.
The general advice for everybody to follow is set out in the following sites –

Supporting Key Workers
Information has already gone around the village about support for those self-isolating and the response to the request for volunteers for them has been fantastic. We now have 22 volunteers signed up and ready to help where needed.
We are now extending this offer of support from a volunteer to all key workers in Buckerell. You are all doing such important jobs for us, under huge pressure and worry and we want to help if we can. So, if you want some shopping picked up or are just too tired to walk the dog after a long shift – whatever it is you need – then get in touch and someone will help you.
Phone David & Wendy Wayne who are co-ordinating this for the Parish Council on 850637 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
